Optimal Protein Distribution Throughout the Day

I have been reading a lot about leucine thresholds. Is it better to eat 3 big meals or 6 small ones for muscle protein synthesis?

I stick to 4 meals. Too many meals and you are never actually in a post-absorptive state.

In the cold north, we just eat whenever we can! But seriously, 30-40g per meal seems to be the sweet spot.

Frequency matters less than total daily intake, but spacing them 3-4 hours apart is optimal for most.

Total protein is king. Don't overcomplicate the timing unless you are at an elite level.
