I cramp every time I go past 15 reps on squats.

You need more potassium and magnesium, not just salt.

I use a 3:1 sodium to potassium ratio.

Good for potassium, bad for sodium. Mix in some sea salt.

Cramping is usually a sign of dehydration or neurological fatigue too.
