Background: After years of heavy overhead pressing, my shoulders were trashed. I found a way back.

The Protocol:
1. Dead Hangs: 3 sets of 1 minute. It decompresses the acromion space.
2. Face Pulls: High volume, focus on external rotation.
3. Scapular Pull-ups: Regain control of the rhythm.

Does anyone else find that active hanging does more for impingement than traditional PT exercises?

I second the dead hangs. They saved my bench press.

Have you tried the Y-W-T raises for lower trap activation?

Yes, Y-raises are in my warm-up now. Essential.

Band pull-aparts daily changed everything for me.

Solid advice. Keep the blood flowing to the tendons.
