Tennis Elbow from Pull-ups

Lateral epicondylitis is killing my back days. I only feel it on the descent. Thoughts?

Use straps. It reduces the grip demand which flares up the extensors.

Hammer curls with light weight high reps helped me get blood into the tendon.

Switch to a neutral grip. Straight bar pullups can be harsh on the elbows.

Tyler Twist with a FlexBar. It is the gold standard for elbow rehab.

Neutral grip actually feels worse. Pronated is slightly better.

That is unusual. Maybe it is your forearm flexors too?

Try eccentric-only wrist extensions.

Are you doing a lot of heavy rows too?

Yeah, bent over rows twice a week.
