Conditioning Strategies for Superheavyweights
Sitting at 130kg structural mass. My work capacity between sets is terrible. How can a big lifter build cardio safely?

Incline treadmill walks or rucking with a light vest. Do not run, your joints will absolutely disintegrate under that mass.
Re: Conditioning Strategies for Superheavyweights
Heavy farmers walks with extended distances. Great grip strength carryover plus heavy aerobic demand.

Kettlebell swings for high reps or EMOM configurations. Keeps the heart racing without high structural wear.

I prefer rowing machines. Low impact and hits the entire posterior chain continuously.

What target zone heart rate are you aiming for during these incline structural walks?

Keep it simple. Zone 2 cardio, roughly 120-135 BPM. You should be able to hold a conversation but still sweat.
Re: Conditioning Strategies for Superheavyweights
Yes, Zone 2 is essential for eccentric cardiac remodeling which increases stroke volume.

Exactly. High intensity cardio will just rob your strength adaptation recovery cycles.

Re: Conditioning Strategies for Superheavyweights
Do it right after your strength work or on separate rest days. 30 minutes, 3 times a week is plenty.
