Everyone checks Test and E2, but almost no one checks Pregnenolone or DHEA-S. These are the precursors that crash first.

Cystatin-C is another big one. Creatinine is useless for us because our muscle mass and high protein intake skew the results.

Agreed on Cystatin-C. My eGFR always looks like I have Stage 2 kidney disease on a standard panel, but Cystatin-C shows I am perfectly healthy.
